For a true gourmand, few things are as pleasurable as a beautifully cooked recipe – when everything comes together perfectly, it’s almost enchanting. On the other hand, a poor dish can tarnish an otherwise satisfying occasion, so it’s natural to do some research and look around for opinions prior to deciding where to eat.

If that doesn’t make circumstances tricky enough, there’s so much more to take into account about restaurants than only the meal! The atmosphere of a restaurant can definitely make a difference in your general experience, be it snobby and useless staff or a crying youngster the next table over. Nonetheless it’s not all unpleasant, of course – an awesome atmosphere can turn a decent dish into an excellent meal!

We have lived within Columbus Ohio for quite a while now, and we’ve put together a reasonably nice repertoire of dining establishments that we absolutely love, covering anything from little mom-and-pop places to striking fine dining, and here are a few of our all-time faves (it was so tough to pick!).

Lunch is a great deal + 10% off with a business card. Husband and I went for lunch for our anniversary and the portions were the same, it wasnt crowded and we were able to spend $30 instead of the typical $50-60 after tip.

I had a great time here for lunch with some co-workers! The service wasn’t fast, but it was great! Plus, I prefer when things come slowly, you don’t feel rushed to finish your soup, or to leave quickly. I was VERY happy they have a great lunch special!! Two rolls and soup for $8! Amazing! I will def be back soon!

The best Sushi rolls around!

The seared salmon roll is over the top, an abundance of flavors and spiciness. The crazy roll and calamari roll are also fantastic.
The hibachi dinners are very good and reasonably priced.
7 out of 10 times I will be in the sushi bar having rolls, salad and fried rice.
